Kymara closes out 4 Week residency at Casablancas Brighton

Kymara is an incredible R&B/Soul artist who works as a collective with her band to create and write a catalog of work that people can connect and vibe with. They have just recently concluded a four week residency at Casablancas in Brighton. I was lucky enough to experience the magic of show two and four where I got to see them showcasing some new material that they are working on for an album that has been long anticipated.

The first show that I experienced I got to watch the two incredible support acts called Hope Winter and Chloe Pamplin.  Both artists were fantastic and jelled well with kymaras music. Both had their own unique style that the audience were mesmerised by which created the perfect atmosphere for Kymaras set.

The second show I attended there was only one support act who used to be one of kymaras backing vocalists called Amanzi. Amanzi is an incredible artist who has just started out in her solo career. This was her debut performance and she absolutely smashed it. The crowd were singing along with her and grooving to her music. The venue was filled from the start not only to see Kymaras final residency show but to also see Amanzi’s debut performance.

After seeing both shows two and four of Kymaras residency I was left speechless. As a collective they are one of the tightest bands I have ever seen play live. Their stage presence was captivating and engaging. One of my personal favourite songs that they played is called Elephant Walk. It is a powerful song that will get anyone up dancing. The first time I had the pleasure of working with kymara was back in 2023 and it has been an honour to work with her over this time period and watch her grow as an artist.

After seeing and hearing the new material that Kymara and her band have been working on I can not wait to see where it goes next. Kymara is an incredible artist that commands the stage like no one I have ever seen before, her and her collective work together in perfect harmony and I would recommend that you listen to them as I can see them going on to great things.
