Sweet Pill Live @ Downstairs At The Dome 28.05.2025
After a European run and their first ever appearance at Slam Dunk, Sweet Pill are rounding off this run of shows in London. Headlining Downstairs At The Dome to an almost sold out room

Opening the night was 'Pollyanna'. Giving a more calmer and chill start to the evening. Opening with track The Chase her music was very acoustically driven while also being supported by her band. The set was filled with personality, from making effort to engage with the crowd, with some songs being heavily influenced by film and TV which has the audience play a game of guessing the influence of track 'The Beach'
A bit of a contrast to Pollyanna, Love Rarely brought a more heavier and aggressive sound to the night. With a lot of people already familiar with them, they were able to command the stage with a strong presence and a ton of energy. Making sure they finished the night gaining some more fans.

The room now full with fans Sweet Pill took to the stage. Keeping up the energy from earlier on in the night. The captivating set was full of fan favourite tracks but also a few unreleased songs thrown into the mix. While they may have been unfamiliar with the fans in the room, each one was received positively. In between songs the band took their chance to interact with the crowd, especially with some friendly banter about “British Traditions’ such as Greggs and Wetherspoons. Throughout the night you could see the connection between the band and the crowd, from people singing back lyrics and the crowd trying to keep up and match the energy on stage. It was only a year ago that Sweet Pill was opening this room, but they have more then proved why they are now headlining it themselves. With new music on the horizon and an already established base of core fans the future of Sweet Pill is looking bigger and brighter
