2000Trees Daily Recap: Wednesday!

After an Early Start we’ve made it to 2000Trees 2026! After setting up Camp Feats. We went for a wonder around the site, looking at the stages, having a gander at the various food stalls, figuring out where the essential shop was, and of course- finding the best bar!
We started the festival right, by catching Hyphen playing the forest stage, such an incredible way to start things off, setting the tone for high energy, but meaningful lyrics. We had crowd surfers, mosh pits, and even some young people getting involved!

Speaking of young people, we’ve been amazed by the pure range of the crowd! You’ve got everyone from the ‘just turned 18’ Full Emo’s, to the dad bod dads- We’ve even been amazed by the number of people with accessibility needs that have come to 2000Trees! Clearly their access team is doing something right!
Shortly after Hyphen came off stage we managed to snag an interview with him, Yonks and him chatted for a while! Covering inspiration, hitting the more political areas that Hyphen is known for, and talking about a dream collaboration! There will be a full write-up and the interview will go live soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
Next up we caught Sprirts playing the Forest Stage, this was a personal favorite for Yonks, who had been telling me to go see them for a while! They brought a similar high-energy focus into the stage, they had people bouncing all over the shop, almost immediately a proper mosh broke out, people were loving it! Even at one point having a member of the crowd come onto the stage to play guitar.

Sprinting to get a good place, for Lake Malice was next! They played ‘The Word', conveniently next to the forest stage, but this was absolutely packed, we managed to slide through the crowd, and was immediately greeted by a wall of death style pit! They managed to cover some of their hits, and brought in a Lake Malice style remix of a few fan favorites!

Following the back to back of Sprints and Lake Malice, we had PUPS next at the Forest Stage! This time Yonks went off to witness the chaos! From their reporting, it was absolute carnage, but with interludes of Catharsis.
And the to end the night, we headed back to camp to debrief, chill and make some pasta! Looking forward to seeing what Thursday Brings
