Saturday at Latitude Festival 2026 was a packed out day, with some huge names blasting some banging sets across the entire site.

Manchester formed quartet Westside Cowboy (I hope you screamed that the way you should in your head) took to the Second Stage, bringing their meld of indie rock with folk influences. Their debut album ‘It Goes On’ comes out later this year, and they’re only set to continue on their rise in the ranks and festival lineups.

Vanessa Carlton, the American singer started us off playing the main stage, serenading the audience with her iconic lyrics, spanning her entire discography her set included hits such as “Willows” and “White Houses”, and eventually playing her Grammy winning single “A Thousand Miles”.

Next on the Second Stage was moody Shoegaze band Just Mustard, another fantastic band from Ireland. The band brought their cool composure to the stage, which rolled over onto the subdued but captivated audience for our sunny Saturday at Latitude.

Tom Odell, with brass band in tow and platforms to go into crowd, opened with one of his most well known songs, ‘Grow Old With Me’ - this was an artist particularly poignant for our contributor Yonks to see, as they listened to his debut album Long Way Down (2013) when it was first released. With hit songs such as ‘Ugly’, ‘Heal’ and, of course, ‘Another Love’ part of his set, Odell climbed not only into the crowd but onto his piano towards the end of his time on Obelisk.

James Marriott performed on the Second stage, bringing in one of the strongest crowds of the whole festival, with screaming fans lining the barrier, and the rest of the tent belting his lyrics back at him. Since we last caught James at The Great Escape in 2023, we’ve been able to watch his comfort and presence on stage grow massively, transitioning from a fun watch to a real showstopping artist. Bringing heavy riffs, deep lyrics and overall high energy to the Second Stage Tent.

Later, an iconic band from Isle of Wight, they’ve been climbing up the festival lineups as well as the charts, sauntering onto stage under thick haze and strobes - it was Wet Leg to close the Second Stage on Saturday. With all their top hits, ‘Chaise Lounge’ and ‘Wet Dream’, ending with their jubilantly defiant song ‘Mangetout’.

Closing out the night, Teddy Swims Headlined the Main stage, the genre-blending artist, who describes his music as “elements of R&B, soul, hip-hop, and contemporary pop”, delivered an outstanding set, the crowd singing along to every beat. His stage design was exceptional, building a multi-level structure, to host his backing singers, drummer, pianist & guitar players. With periodic pyro elements going off for several songs. His set hit a wide range of genres, starting out with more soul/folk vibes and moving into more contemporary pop towards the end, even doing a cover of “Jump” by Van Halen, which got the crowd going! Changing the tone next he brought out special guest Vanessa Carlton, who’d played the main stage earlier in the day, to perform “A Thousand Miles”, this time with Teddy and Vanessa doing a duet together.

Finally, we had Vodafone's surprise Drone display over the middle of the arena/food court, a nice surprise for punters on their way back to their campsites after a long but fulfilling day.
