Wrapping Up SXSW London Day 4 we had Coco & the Lost performing an acoustic set at Jaguar Shoes, with a emotional and impactful take on her normal energetic ‘cinematic pop’, she had crips vocals, and great humour between sets!
Despite it being a warm weekday night, Snake Eyes still brought their all to the table. And so did their second support, Rad Pitt, a punk, ‘math-rock’ band from Colchester, who’s vivacious energy got the audience going; with both their bassist and guitarist performing from the crowd-side of the barricade, creating a lively, interactive atmosphere.
SXSW came to London for the first time earlier this month, and we managed to catch it all! The festival was split into three components - Film, Music & Conferences. However, despite the big-name backing and buzz, this inaugural SXSW London felt light on substance, struggling to live up to the creative energy of its Austin counterpart.
