Faetooth gathered probably the most packed crowd I’ve ever seen in the Arts Centre before, with their support acts ‘Kulk’ and ‘Cwfen’ doing more than just filling time - they were getting the crowd going, ready, and warming everyone up for a brilliant evening (or cooling seeing as there was many fans placed around the venue to keep the temperatures down!).

Final Dose @ Voodoo Daddy’s Showroom 05.06.2025
Then came Final Dose, whose stage presence and unique set certainly caught my attention; with the main vocalist arriving on stage with what seemed to be a bag over his head with eye holes. If this wasn’t enough their set boasted the use of very dim red lighting exclusively, paired with a smoke machine, to create an eerie atmosphere that paired wonderfully with their music and caused an interesting dynamic compared to the usual array of different lighting used by most artists.

It’s been over a year since Heart Attack Man was last in the UK and with a new album out this set was the perfect opportunity to showcase new music not just to any existing fans in the room, but to potential new ones. Opening with Laughing Without Smiling, one of their new tracks, the band immediately took control of the stage. With constant movement and energy from the band on stage, to the multiple crowd surfers and stage divers they built up the excitement for the rest of the night, and with the announcement that they will be headlining the same venue later this year they have guaranteed many people will return.
